About similar characters
This option removes characters that are easy to confuse, such as O, 0, I, l, and 1. It is useful when passwords may be typed manually.
About symbols
When symbols are enabled, characters such as ! @ # $ % are included. Check which symbols are accepted by the service where you will use the password.
Security
Passwords are generated entirely in your browser. Random values are created with window.crypto.getRandomValues.
